A liveless body of a young man is still lying at the Randezvous neighborhood in Bamenda, Northwest region of cameroon more than 48hrs after it was dropped there by unidentified Individuals on Tuesday April 5,2022.

The corpse from all indications is decomposing, those living arround the Rendezvous neighborhood as well as bike riders have complained of the bad air that is oozing out of the corpse, which can be deathrimental to the health of those who pass arround it.

"...I don pass for here two times this morning with my passengers weey I carry. The kind smell weey e don start comot that die body be very bad. I nofit tell you weti happen for this young man and I nova hear anything. Me sef cam pass seeam too so for that Tuesday afternoon so", a bike man plying the road between city chemist and Ngomgham expressed his feelings.

At press time no one has been able to identify the body and what happened to the deceased, no familly has also identified itself with the corpse.

It is expected that the Bamenda City Council will rescue the situation by taking away the mortal remains of this young man for burial.

It's been over 5years since the armed armed conflict started in the Northwest and Southwest regions. The insecurity in both regions has caused people to leave their homes, seeking refuge in other towns where they consider safe.

In recent times heavy gunshots could still be heard in different parts of town in the Northwest region and sometimes local explosives will go off. This is not the first time corpses have been abandoned on the streets.
