Mounouna Foutsou, Youth affairs Minister has chaired a ceremony by way of intensifying the implementation of the National Civic Education Program through Moral, Civic and Entrepreneurial Rearmament (Re-initiation), launched in 2022.

The workshop which was previously held at the Police Training and Application Center (CIAP) in Mutengene was proof of this. At the end of the training session, he instructed that back in the various central and decentralized services, the reprimed personnel serve as an example by regularly carrying out this republican ceremony of raising the colors, to raise awareness.

He encouraged other administrations to do the same, if not support them in this operation. According to the Minister, it was also about "reaching out to the entire population, not just youths alone".

It is a question, through these activities; of strengthening patriotism among young people that there is also catching up in the socio-professional environment, what would not have been done during the academic course”.

Also, through this act, Minister Mounouna Foutsou invited staff from central and decentralized services to regularly carry out these ceremonies within their structures, but also to accompany other administrations at the central level as well as at the decentralized level to carry out these ceremonies which contributes to the promotion of patriotism.

“Cameroonians must be attached to the national flag, which represents quite a symbol,” he underlines.
