Education: Northwest Regional Assembly contributes quota to students' education in the region

Over 200 students received didactics materials for the academic year 2022/2023 during the 8th session of the Northwest regional Assembly. These didactics materials given was to ensure that these students can fully enroll into effective studies. Northwest governor Adolphe Lele L'Afrique, the President of the Regional Assembly Prof Fru Angwafo Ill, mayors, parliamentarians were all present representing the seven divisions of the Northwest; Bui, Boyo, Donga Mantung, Menchum, Mezam, Momo, Ngoketunjia.

About 92 students  went home with 50 thousand francs cfa each for brilliant performance; 50 thousand cfa francs for first cycle and 60 thousand cfa francs for second cycle. Didactics materials like books, benches, and bags were distributed to 200 students from the seven divisions at the regional delegation of secondary Education.

The President of the Regional Assembly urged the principals to work as a team. Two hundred desks were granted to schools in need and two hundred more yet to come. "Education is a one time opportunity, there can be no development without youths engagement and education. Youths should build themselves, train because the future is unknown".

Damaris was a beneficiary at the ceremony and expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the materials given to them and urged those who are in school to join them in the race because education is the key .

As part of the peace and development initiative of the Northwest regional House of Assembly, youth engagement and education is imperative. "Its important to have children go to school, we can not predict the future but if we train our children, the future will be managed", Prof Fru Angwafor III.
