COMINSUD Advocates For A Peaceful society Through A Youth Desk



A one day workshop for Mayors, councils and youths held on the idea of sending a youth desk to council in order to promote initiatives for developmen, taking place November 3rd 2021 at Hill top hotel up station Bamenda.


The discussion was within the framework of a peace service with focus on inter ethnic conflicts and natural resource conflicts. The civil peace service advocated for attention to be on conflicts.

"We live in an era full of violence that has passed the level of cruelty. We are in the process of civil peace service. We should always ensure to take civil peace actions when faced with conflicts", Fon Nsoh, organizations coordinator.

"We have a society where negativity is very high. Positivity should be reflected in our thoughts and expressions and we should be tolerant towards one another to promote peace in our society. Local peace building is key", he further explained. 


The exchange was meant to alert participants to strife for peace and refrain from violence, reaching out for best strategies in conflict resolution to attain a peaceful and just society.
