This is not the parking lot of Olembe stadium or the Roumdé Adjia stadium in Garoua. These are over 10 cars seized in Ngaoundére, Adamawa region by Jean Marie Toukam, Head of the Customs Sector in that part of the Country.

Elements of Customs in Ngaoundéré seized a total of 10 vehicles on Friday bound for Yaoundé. The operation was carried out with the collaboration of the Sector of the Customs of North and Zone 3 of the operation Halcomi 3, through joint efforts made it possible to detect the idea of the smugglers in procession of the vehicles during the AFCON games.

The vehicles were seized and they fraudulently entered the national territory with license plates from Chad; "We have had the logos and license plates of the CAN TotalEnergies Cameroon 2021 affixed".

Research carried out via Cosmos application confirmed the doubts and stories because the chassis numbers of these vehicles do not appear there.

Drivers of the said vehicles have not provided any customs clearance documents. The loot was secured at the Adamaoua Customs Sector.
