Youth Affairs Minister visits Mutenguene Police Training, Application Centre




On July 19, 2022, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (Minjec), Mounouna Foutsou, conducted a guided tour of the Police Instruction and Application Center (CIAP) in Mutenguene, in the South – West of the country.


Welcomed by CIAP, Dr Pierre Nith, divisional police commissioner and commander of CIAP for a working stay in the South-West region, from July 19 to 22, 2022, was an opportunity to welcome participants from pole 1, bringing together the heads of the coastal, western, south-west and north-west regions.


For the guided tour of the Center, led by Dr. Pierre Nith, MINJEC was accompanied by the prefect of the division, the Mayor of the commune of Mutenguene, as well as several senior local officials. 

The delegation visited all of the Centre's facilities, including green spaces, dormitories, classrooms, refectory, hall of honor, etc. The presence of all the conveniences and basic necessities for the smooth running of the workshop to strengthen the operational capacities of the troops, satisfied the visitors.

Following the guided tour, the welcome ceremony for the participants of pole 1 took place. from Minjec to CIAP. For these participants, the respect of the instructions under the control of the monitors assigned to them, is the main recommendation of the commander of the CIAP, and also on the part of the Minjec.

However, the Youth Affairs Minister did not fail to express its gratitude to the Director General of National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguele, for the arrangements made for the implementation of activities at CIAP.

The capacity building workshop for heads of central and decentralized services, structures attached and under the supervision of MINJEC, the solemn launch of holiday activities in Limbe; the closing ceremony of the training workshop for Young Municipal Councilors and their official installation in Tiko, were se activities that Minister Mounouna Foutsou was engaged in.
