These networks make it possible to bring together young people around specific themes and to collect their opinions and suggestions to develop an inclusive and effective national youth policy.
It is in this sense that the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou began discussions on the consultations which will end on October 18.
To do this, two main themes were the subject of the first meeting, namely: employment and economic integration, on the one hand, and education, training and literacy, on the other hand.
These questions are at the heart of government action, which spares no effort, so that every young person has access to quality education and training, then ensures harmonious socio-economic integration. For public authorities, it is a question of ultimately guaranteeing access to decent employment.
Christian Fodjou in his presentation generally deplores the lack of infrastructure, the ignorance of young people, the isolation of certain areas, the high cost of certain training centers, the adaptation of the education system to local realities.

Following him, Carine Andela, head of the thematic network, socio-economic integration of young people, in her speech presented the major problems identified and the possible solutions in this sector.
These include, among other things, the lack of appropriate structures, the lack of direction for youth projects, excessive taxes, corruption, lack of information, etc.
To remedy this, she proposes as a possible solution, the fight against corruption, encouraged companies to hire young people, develop businesses, encouraged companies to hire young people, facilitate young people's access to information, reduce taxes and duties. , promote young entrepreneurship.
