Education: NexGen signs MoU with University of Bamenda (UBa)



NexGen Higher Institute of Technology (NHIT) today 25th January 2024 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Bamenda (UBa).

NexGen proudly celebrates this a major achievement that allows it to offer degree courses in the computer engineering and management sciences departments of the Institution.


NexGen started in 2013 as a technology center, grew into a vocational training center in 2015 and obtained authorization to operate as a university Institute in 2020.


NexGen runs diploma, HND and degree programs with the Programmers' Certifications course run in collaboration with the Israeli Developer's Institute as it's greatest prides. NexGen have two campuses in Yaounde at Nsimeyong Simbock and a third in Bamenda at City Chemist.

Nexgen Higher Institute of Technology (NHIT) is a higher private institute located in Yaoundé (Nsimeyong). Nexgen has started its activities as a professional training center.

Taking advantages of his technical training, Nextgen now prepare students to HND (Higher National Diploma) under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education. 

In addition to Information technology domain, Nexgen Higher Institute of Technology is also involved in the following domains: Trade and sale, Management, Medical and biomedical sciences.
