CPDM Mezam Launches Grassroots Campaign for Candidate Paul Biya

Campaigns are on, militants of Mezam are not indifferent from mobilization efforts for their candidate, President Paul Biya. They are pledging unwavering support for a man they see as qualified for Cameroon's top job.

The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) Mezam Divisional Campaign Committee, led by Minister Felix Mbayu rolled out the campaign in all seven subdivisions of Mezam, just 24 hours after the regional launch in Bamenda.

Despite security challenges in the North West, the campaign openings in Tubah, Bali, Bafut, Santa, Bamenda I, II and III drew large crowds of militants and sympathizers, reaffirming their commitment to President Paul Biya as the candidate of continuity, stability, and progress.

Minister Mbayu stressed that the CPDM’s record speaks louder than promises, citing the Bamenda–Babadjou road as an example of government determination to deliver development against the odds. He also highlighted the prominence of Mezam natives in key national positions as proof of the division’s strong voice under President Biya’s leadership.

From community rallies to door-to-door outreach, the campaign strategy is now focused on grassroots mobilization. Minister Mbayu reinforced this approach by distributing farm inputs to militants at Up Station, stressing that “President Biya only promises what he can deliver — and his record proves it.”

The next phase will see intensified neighborhood canvassing to ensure every supporter is engaged and ready for the October 12 elections.
