Official Hand Over and Installation Ceremony
Noted for dedication to providing health care services to the community; In Bafmeng and in Tubah District Hospital, Dr Dingana Terence has officially taken over as Director of the Mankon District Hospital, a new breeze sweeps across the Mankon Community as residents say his coming will once again revive proper health care services in Mankon and it's environs.
Installation ceremony held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 in the conference room of the District's Directorate, chaired by the representative of the Northwest Regional Delegate of Public Health and attended by Public Health's technical Staff, some staff of Tubah Health District, Mankon hospital staff, and family members.
Dr. Dingana Terence, Incoming Director - Mankon District Hospital
“As far as work is concerned, leaving the Tubah District Hospital to the Mankon District Hospital is like day and night,” he said. “But I console myself by saying that I started work at Tubah where there were no patients. In fact, I think the situation in Tubah was worse than what I’m meeting in Mankon. That motivated me. That gives me the zeal to believe in myself that I can still pull that population like I managed to do in Tubah.” Dr Dingana Terence.
The question of traveling several kilomètres to get quality health care services outside Mankon will no longer be the case for residents, rather it is time to have those within the Mankon community and its environs to visit the Mankon Health District for proper and accessible health care services.
"The giant edifice in Mankon needs an Ambulance, a quality and furnished Ambulance, which My team and I will use to visit all quaters in Mankon, leaving no one behind. This is a strong tool and I think it will greatly boost the quest for health care, besides the giant edifice already put in place by the North West Regional Assembly, equipping the facility with new equipment worth over 800 million FCFA", Dr Dingana Terence, New Director.
Dr. Dingana’s appointment is strategic and it is a moral booster to the Mankon Community. For readers looking for a point of reference, Bafmeng and Tubah District Hospital should answer your worries.
