Presidential Election 2025: Paul Atanga Nji Cautions against Clandestine Behaviours



Chairing a Security meeting in Bamenda on October 3rd 2025, MINAT Boss Paul Atanga Nji has called on North-West Administration to stay vigilant and ensure that there is Peace and Serenity before, during and after Presidential Elections.

The Minister was in Bamenda to evaluate the security situation and state of preparedness for the North-West Administration and Elecam Officials ahead of October 12th Presidential elections. 

North-West Administrative Officials have been called to stay alert amidst the crisis situation and accompany elecam officials, voters for a smooth voting process. 

"Peace, Security n Serenity must be guaranteed before and after election", Minister Paul Atanga Nji in Bamenda. 

The Minister also highlighted that all Elections material must reach all polling stations before voting day, and futher called on all candidates running for the country's top job to refrain from hate speech and utterances that may cause chaos. 

A call for seperarist to drop their arms and embrace national unity was key on the agenda.

MINAT boss observed, "We have had enough of this political disorder", asking parents to take responsibility and ensure that "their kids who are in the bushes should lay down their arms and seek refuge in the DDR center".

The call for peace continues, though the lockdown call by Seperatists fighters have created pockets of resistance to prevent smooth campaigns in Bamenda.
