Back-to-School: Didatic Materials to Arrive Schools in Ngaoundére II



Benches, Tables and other learning tools will be offered to schools in Ngaoundére, in the days ahead, to better prepare pupils and students ahead of the school year 2021/2022. 

This donation worth millions of CFA francs will be handed by Mayor Idrissou Abana in Ngaoundére II sub division, this Friday August 13, 2021 at the town hall. According to him, these items comes as a relief package to resolve problems of seating in comfortable and conduisive classrooms. 

"This items are meant to improve the study conditions of students in classrooms, so that this reflects in their results, after end of year exams". 

“Real development is only possible if there is a good education policy, that which involves the establishment of adequate infrastructures". Mayor Idrissou told press.

The Mayor futher explained that children within this jurisdiction will be able to train themselves in the best conditions provided; with benches, tables and chairs set to a better standard than its present state.

A sum of about 12 million CFA francs was released from the town hall's funds to provide more than 5,000 benches to 10 establishments in the Ngaoundére II Commumity.

The Mayor used the occasion to encourage youngsters, advicing students to quit the clandestine kind of lifestyle and avoid falling prey to crimes. He told them to make hay while the sun shines and take education seriously.

“You must shine through civic behavior which involves respecting the equipment provided. The internal rules and regulations of your establishment and even the laws of the Republic, must be respected " Mayor.
