Mounouna Foutsou, Cameroon's Minister of Youth affairs and civic education was present at the 2nd edition of the African Forum in Russia to discuss better opportunities with Cameroon's diaspora partners.
The President of the Republic of Cameroon, His Excellency Paul Biya representer by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Mounouna and several other personalities of the Republic of Cameroon answered present at this forum.
With the exhibitions were visited by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education of Cameroon, Mounouna Foutsou, as well as a strong Cameroonian delegation.
Speaking with exhibitors, the minister insisted on the importance of promoting the “Made in Cameroon” brand.
“It is good to sell the Cameroon destination to all those who pass through here and if possible all the participants in the Forum as our President has done so well. Made in Cameroon must now be a label”.
In addition, Mounouna Foutsou had exchanges with the Cameroonian diaspora of Russia. The Minister presented the Assistance Program for the Return and Socio-economic Integration of Young Cameroonians from the diaspora.
The program encourages Cameroonians living abroad to return to their country of origin to invest and settle there, urging Cameroonians living abroad to engage in home projects to support the vision of theit country and empower other youths.
He mentioned the financing of diaspora projects, referring to the meeting of Heilbronn in Germany, where the Head of State granted an envelope of 400 million CFA francs for the financing of projects within the framework of the Special Three-Year Plan for young people.
Cameroon's active participation in this 2nd edition of the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum hatched fruits. It was thus an opportunity for Cameroon to promote its economy and encourage the active participation of its diaspora in the development of the country.
