Back To School 2022: Ndichia Foundation Equips Needy Children In Bamenda.



Over 100 needy primary and secondary school children, mostly orphans and the physically challenged have successfully returned to school in Bamenda thanks to the kind gesture of Ndichia Foundation. 

These children received didactic materials comprising of books, pens, pencils, rulers and sharpeners that help prepared them for the start of the school year. 

The event took place at St Edmund’s Catholic Church Mulang saw Father Anthony Ndang giving hope to disillusioned kids whose hope of going back to school was a far fetch dream, until now possible thanks to Ndichia foundation.
 
Speaking at the donation event, Rev Fr Anthony Ndang, representative of Ndichia Foundation cautioned the beneficiaries to be discipline and determined in their studies: 

“I want to urge you all to work hard in your studies so that one day some of you can become medical doctors, engineers, scientists, teachers, nurses etc. I appreciate the donors and supporters of Ndichia Foundation whose generosity has paved a future and added value to our children and their families. Remember that Discipline and determination is the key to success" said Father Anthony Ndang. 

According to Awah Bradley a 15 year Form Five student, going back to school on his part is now guaranteed thanks to the donation.

"I want to thank the Ndichia Foundation for assisting me with books, pens, pencils, rulers, sharpeners. I'm so happy and grateful; it will enable me to start school, especially during this period of the ongoing crisis. May God continue to bless and protect Ndichia Foundation and it's donors for the marvellous work they are doing".


The sixth year conflict in the Anglophone regions of Cameroon have left many school children helpless each time it’s back to school. Some have been displaced, some abandoned without parents and others forced to now live with a one form of disability. 

As the struggle to keep children in school continues, initiatives like that of Ndichia foundation have continued to wipe away tears from the eyes of most families and kids in Bamenda. 


Ndichia Foundation empowers children through education and the main focus of the Foundation is to break the yoke of poverty and encourage young people to indulge in learning. The Foundation has taken as a duty to give assistance and make the needy ready for school each time its back to school in the region.
