MINJEC Boss urges Diaspora to boost the agricultural sector



In Belgium, Minister Mounouna Foutsou met with Cameroonian entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for collaboration in the cocoa and logistics sectors.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the Minister of Youth and Civic Education discovered the SIGOJI chocolate factory, a company founded by Euphrasie Mbamba, a Cameroonian from the diaspora.

The CEO now runs three stores in Belgium and a training center that supports cocoa farmers in Cameroon to ensure quality production that meets European standards.

MINJEC also visited the premises of DANEMO in Brussels, a company specializing in freight, logistics and import-export.

The objective was to integrate DANEMO into the future cocoa cluster, in particular to optimize logistics and ensure efficient delivery of beans to international processors. 

The Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting Cameroonians abroad in their economic, social and humanitarian projects. 

Through this working visit to Belgium, Mounouna Foutsou underlined the Cameroonian government's willingness to support the initiatives of Cameroonian youth.
