MINJEC partners with GIC BA to Intergrate Youths in Local Economy



A partnership agreement signed on April 14th 2023, aimed at the socio-exonomic intergration of young people in bakery trade, using local raw material.


Areas of collaboration of the convention include; moral, civic and entrepreneurial rearmament of young people, the strengthening of technical, entrepreneurial and material capacities of young people.

The partnership agreement is expected to last for a period of 3 years, renewable and the request of the parties involved. 

MINJEC and the Green-Red-Yellow GIC BA are committed to collaborate, in mobilizing and train young people, monitor their activities, direct them to funding windows, and support them in setting up pilot units of production.

The partnership agreement turned out to be a turning point in the life of Cameroonian youths. According to the Youth Affairs Minister, the initiative marks a decisive turning point in the promotion of import-substitution  through made in Cameroon Label.

The convention will help toung people to contribute to the structural transformation of the Cameroon economy by reducing dependence on imports.
