CPDM Secretary General and National Campaign Coordinator, Jean Nkuete, has described President Paul Biya’s next mandate as one of hope and transformation for Cameroon.
Speaking in Bamenda on October 5, 2025, during an assessment of campaigns in the North West Region, Nkuete said President Biya remains committed to building a strong, modern, and prosperous Cameroon.
He highlighted ongoing mining and industrial projects expected to boost the economy and create jobs, calling on voters to give the Head of State their full support.
“We have the best candidate with the best plan for our people,” he declared.
Minister Felix Mbayu, leading the Mezam Divisional Campaign Team, dismissed opposition figures as “political adventurers” making unrealistic promises.
He reminded the public of the long-standing bond between President Biya and the North West, noting that Biya first visited Bamenda in 1983 and launched the CPDM there in 1985.
“The President alone embodies the wisdom, experience, and vision Cameroon needs,” Mbayu stated.
Regional campaign head Philemon Yang reported that over 80% of campaign activities have been launched, emphasizing proximity outreach and effective media use. Confident in victory, he joined other leaders in pledging a resounding win for President Biya on October 12.
The event drew a massive turnout of supporters, officials, and party leaders across the region.
