She told Civiclens that working with the youths of the Northwest region  has not been an easy task because though she sees them as vibrant because of their youth, she described that fraction of the region's population as sensitive and delicate.

"It is not easy to work with the youths. Their brain is working on a daily basis, with the high technology we have because they are exposed to alot as they themselves get updated on everything. We make efforts to understand them, know their problem and also involve them in some of our programs from the Ministry like the REAMORSE program".

"We also give them civic education and try to make them understand love of fatherland. We speak with them on a daily basis, have interactions, taking part in some of their activities makes us understand what their weaknesses are and we bring them up to speed. In a context like ours where there is alot of deliquency, with easy access to drugs, working with the youths needs alot of coaching skills", NW Youth affairs Delegate.

The recipient has been at the forefront of youth activities in the Northwest region. She has pledge her support and availability to all youths in the region, to help them carve " a future for themselves", involving them in leadership skills programs, entrepreneurship and encourage volunteering so that these youth genuinely build their skills.
